In this area, there are three different groups:
SOCIAL INTEGRATION, SMART CITIZEN INITIATIVES and BARCELONA IN FICTION.
SOCIAL INTEGRATION
Within this area, two GFEP students and two teachers from the Social Sciences department deal with issues regarding social policies and resources used to improve social integration of minorities.
SMART CITIZEN INITIATIVES
Within this area, three students and two teachers from the Catalan Language department are working on how citizens organize themselves and try to improve social conditions in developing cities, with a critical approach to the smart city concept.
BARCELONA IN THE NOVELS BY MANUEL VAZQUEZ MONTALBAN
Within this area, those students mostly interested in literature and cinema, are studying examples of how our town development and transformation figures in some works of fiction, and will also be developing a mobile phone application to be used by interested people and tourists.
