In this area, there are four main groups working on ICTUS STROKES, HEALTH FACILITIES, WEARABLES AND HEALTH SENSORS, and TELECARE ASSISTANCE.
MYOCARDIAL STROKE PROTOCOL
Three students and two teachers fom the biology department, are doing research on defibrillators, the myocardial code and cardiovascular ICT.
OUR HEALTH FACILITIES
Two students and a teacher from the Social Sciences department deal with issues regarding the use and need of health facilities in our neighbourhood. This group also works together with the Telecare research group.
TELECARE ASSISTANCE
Three students and two teachers from the biology department deal with how we develop and make use of teleassistance applications and techniques.
WEARABLES and HEALTH SENSORS
Three students and two teachers from the Physics and Chemistry department are working with the development and use of different wearables and health sensors.
